There may have been heavy rainfall, but the weather was perfect to test out Jackson’s Gap newest safe room during the Oct. 28 grand opening. 

Along with Jackson’s Gap councilmembers, Tallapoosa County District 3 commissioner John McKelvey and Tallapoosa County Emergency Management Agency director Jason Moran were in attendance.
