Lyman Ward Military Academy’s newest president will be coming home in a sense, as he takes the top job at the school from which he graduated 50 years ago.

Lyman Ward announced Wednesday that Dr. Roy W. Berwick was appointed commander of the academy effective Aug. 1. Berwick comes to the Camp Hill school after leading the cadets at Millersburg Military Institute in Kentucky and Oak Ridge Military Academy in North Carolina. He has more than 20 years of experience at both the secondary and collegiate levels of military education.
