A joint investigation between local and national law enforcement has led to the arrest of a Dadeville man.

According to a press release, Darryl Orvett Payne, 58, of Dadeville, was arrested and charged with a violation of the Sex Offender Registration and Community Notification Act for failing to register with the Tallapoosa County Sheriff’s Office.Â
