A single-vehicle accident claimed the life of Kimberly Dawn Sapp, 30, of Dadeville, Wednesday when her truck left the roadway and traveled down an embankment, coming to rest in a creek.

According to the Alabama Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 1:50 a.m. Wednesday morning on Alabama 49, three miles north of Dadeville.  The vehicle was not discovered, however, until late Wednesday afternoon, as Sapp’s Chevrolet S-10 pickup was not visible from the road.
