Two veterans of the Dadeville Police Department had a chance last month to handle some of the nastiest chemical and biological agents on Earth during a training session at the Center For Domestic Preparedness near Anniston.

From biological threats like anthrax and ricin, to nuclear materials and chemical nerve agents, DPD Lt. Christopher Martin and Sgt. Scott Fuller learned how to identify and safely handle the weapons of mass destruction should such a frightening scenario raise its head in Tallapoosa County.
