Group plans spooky October hayride

October just wouldn’t be complete without a good scare, and a group from Dadeville and surrounding areas is bringing a little fear with their Fields of Fear hayride.

The idea for the hayride, which will take place on Freeman Road off Alabama Highway 49 near Horseshoe Bend National Military Park, originated with a couple Horseshoe Bend School students and has now grown to encompass about 25 volunteers along with involvement from community members.
