Pandemic pastime to page-turning thrillers: Local bookstore welcomes Montgomery author

The COVID-19 pandemic had many people digging for hobbies. A Montgomery native author was doing the same, but got three books out of the venture. 

Psychological thriller author Mark Jenkins came to Dadeville’s Firefly Pages for a book signing for his three novels: “With One Stone,” “Do Unto Others” and “So Shall You Reap.” Jenkins had always had an interest in writing, but did not take the chance until quarantine. He was stuck in the house, started reading more and picked up a book by international bestselling psychological thriller author Freida McFadden. McFadden, the inspiration behind the plot of his first book, wrote the blurb for that novel after he reached out to her when starting his writing journey.
