Sometimes visions becoming a reality is harder without connection. The Allied Center for Rural Organizing and Systemic Solutions Network has come a long way with the development of its first community complex. Recently, the network invited 65 nonprofits from around the U.S. for a site visit to Camp Hill in order to get even further.

ACROSS hosted executive directors of multiple organizations to share about the on-the-ground work volunteers and the organization are doing in the town. The biggest project is its construction of a community complex on Old 280 Road. The complex will include a community garage, resource library, workshop and training center and free-use amphitheater. The goal is to build a skilled workforce within the community.
