Rangers fall to Abbeville Christian on Thursday

The Southern Prep football team really could not get out of its own way on Thursday night against Abbeville Christian. The two-game win streak for the Rangers ultimately came to an end with a 49-20 loss to the Generals.

“I think we caused ourselves a lot of problems,” Southern Prep coach J.R. Rodriguez said. “We just weren’t executing on offense like we normally do. When we did score, we had long drives, we just had a lot of unnecessary penalties, and just a lack of execution.”
