It was tough sledding for Southern Preparatory Academy in the season opener.

In addition to falling, 42-14 against the reigning AISA 8-man state champions Cornerstone Christian — the Rangers also saw their numbers dwindle. Already equipped with a small roster size, they saw those numbers dip a tad against the Chargers with some injuries to starters.
