It was tough sledding, but the Southern Prep football team was able to show some flashes in a 44-12 loss to Escambia Academy.

One of the biggest bright spots was quarterback Brayden Pace, according to coach J.R. Rodriguez. Pace was able to connect with his favorite target, Jackson Weston, for a passing touchdown, while showcasing his ability to put together solid drives down the field.
