Alisa Benson with the Alabama Department of Revenue visited the Tallapoosa County Board of Education to explain the board’s current audit standing and answer questions.

Benson told the board its current 2024 audit showed a negative fund balance in its general fund and its one-month operating fund does not meet the amount required by the state.
