Artists are connecting in ways like never before. 

Gone are the competitions between galleries and art organizations. Now everyone is coming together to promote each other and help educate each other on what is happening in the art world. Saturday the Kelly Fitzpatrick Center of the Arts in Wetumpka held its third annual River Region Art Summit. Art guilds from Elmore, Autauga and Montgomery counties, joined by the Alabama Arts Alliance, The Art Mill in Millbrook and the Montgomery Museum of Fine Arts could be found with one simple mission, promoting the arts.
