Imagine getting more than 300 calls per year about someone dying. Imagine dealing with all the paperwork with more than 300 deaths in a year. Imagine being on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Imagine a pay of only $17,900.

It’s a pay that is known when a candidate qualifies for the position on an election ballot.
