Elmore County Schools elementary principals and assistant principals are part of the top of the class for the LETRS for Administrators program conducted by the Alabama Reading Initiative.

Elmore County Schools was named a Science of Reading Gold Certified District as more than 90% of elementary school educators in the county system completed the LETRS for Administrators program. It’s a program designed to aid administrators with a deeper knowledge of teaching reading to assist teachers in teaching reading to young students.
