Edgewood to stay in AISA for academics, new conference for athletics

Nothing will change for Edgewood Academy in the way of academics as the school, along with all AISA schools, moves to the newly created Gulf State Independent Athletic Association. Edgewood will still remain with AISA for accreditation and governmental relations and academic competitions.

“AISA is our accrediting agency,” Edgewood Academy head of school Susan Barner said. “That's who we have one of our accreditations through along with COGNIA. All of our academic competitions will remain with AISA.”
