An operation by the Elmore County Drug Task Force with federal authorities led to multiple arrests and drugs being taken off the street.

Monday morning, the task force partnered with the Department of Homeland Security to serve a federal arrest warrant through the United District Court for the Middle District of Alabama at a Renee Way residence in Elmore. They were seeking Mexican national Agustin Osorio-Lopez.
