Submitted / TPI City of Wetumpka officials and the Wetumpka Area Chamber of Commerce helped Tractor Supply Company cut the ribbon for its River Town Center location in Wetumpka. A grand opening celebration is planned for this weekend.

Wetumpka leaders believe River Town Center will bring much needed businesses to the western part of the city. Just last week officials cut the ribbon on Tractor Supply Company, the first business to open its doors in the city-led development.

“It's a great addition to Wetumpka,” Mayor Jerry Willis said. “We're so happy to have them come and partner with us to be a part of the growth and the excitement that's going on in Wetumpka at this time. They are the bell cow for the development of the entire project and it means a lot to us.”
