Wetumpka’s undefeated start came down to the final minutes Friday night, but the Indians could not finish the job, falling 32-29 to Russell County in a battle between two 3-0 teams.

Wetumpka had the offensive firepower to stay within striking distance, but penalties repeatedly put the Indians in difficult situations while Russell County capitalized on its opportunities.
