Tyler Logan Hackett of Holtville High School and Ashlynn Grace Turner of Wetumpka High School were selected as the 2026 Overall Joe Sewell Memorial Award winners.
Hackett participated in football and wrestling. He is actively involved at Shoal Creek Baptist Church, taking part in a Central Asia mission trip, volunteering for Light the Night, assisting with Lake Jordan Clean-up Day, Ivy’s Closet and Little League football. He also helped start a Bible study at his church.

Marengo, Montgomery, Perry, Pickens, Pike, Randolph, Russell,
Shelby, St. Clair, Sumter, Talladega, Tallapoosa and Tuscaloosa.
* WHEN...From 4 PM CDT this afternoon through Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur
in poor drainage and urban areas.
