Submitted / TPI Members of the Main Street Wetumpka board poses with awards at the annual Main Street Alabama banquet. It honors efforts in revitalizing downtowns across Alabama.

It’s a chance for all Main Street communities to catch up and see what each other are doing to revitalize downtowns across the state. This year Main Street Wetumpka was recognized with five awards and recognized its hero Wetumpka Mayor Jerry Willis.
