Residents of The Level asked for more street lights after gunshots were fired into a house in April. 

They said it would help everyone see what was going on in the streets in the dark. They made the request of the Wetumpka City Council. At its Monday meeting, the council approved spending $63.03 per month for six new lights in The Level.
