Mustangs prevail in 3 sets over Wildcats 

The Stanhope Elmore volleyball team defeated a scrappy group of Wildcats from Benjamin Russell 3-0 (25-9, 26-24 & 25-20) Thursday night in Millbrook. The win tipped off area play for both teams. The Mustangs improve to 1-0 in area play. 

“I’m very happy with the way they played, but if I could just get them to stop the slump,” Stanhope Elmore Coach Flavia Freeney said. “They are a tough group. My Setter (Molly Davis) got hurt, but she stayed in there. This is an amazing group of girls.”
