Company Street in downtown Wetumpka will be closed for an undetermined amount of time due to a sinkhole and broken sewer pipe that was discovered Thursday afternoon.

Wetumpka Water Works is on the scene working to fit a temporary replacement for a sanitary sewer pipe, Tex Grier, director of public works, said.
