Hundreds of residents and visitors are expected to gather in Eclectic’s downtown area on Dec. 8 for the town’s annual Christmas parade, holiday market and tree-lighting ceremony.

“You get an opportunity to get out there and spend the holidays with your neighbors,” assistant town clerk Elizabeth Geer said. “Last year, we had a lot of people come. I know everybody said they had a good time.”
