The 80,000 square foot Amtech Southeast Inc. facility in Elmore has been cited by the U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration for 15 safety and health violations carrying $50,000 in proposed penalties.

In OSHA’s report it indicated that workers faced amputation, laceration and caught-in hazards and were exposed to excessive noise over the permissible limit.
