‘Idol’ viewing party set in downtown Wetumpka

Everyone is encouraged to come to Wetumpka this Wednesday evening and watch “American Idol” with their friends and neighbors to cheer on local contestant Jess Meuse.

Tiffany Robinson, Wetumpka’s special events/tourism manager, said a big screen will be set up behind the city administrative building to show the broadcast. Attendees should bring chairs or blankets for seating.
