Signs designate Fain Bridge

Earlier this week, relatives of the late Joe Billy Fain met near Wetumpka’s upper bridge over the Coosa River to celebrate placement of signs marking it as the Coach Joe Billy Fain Bridge.

The Alabama Legislature officially named the bridge – located on the Coosa River Parkway – after Fain during the 2012 legislative session. The resolution was sponsored by state Rep. Barry Mask (R-Wetumpka).
