“We put pillows over our heads then we heard this strange noise. I kept thinking to listen for the train because you always hear people say it sounds like a train, but I never really heard that. It was more of — I tried to explain it to my friends — it was kind of like the wind was roaring at you. It was just strange. But as soon as you start to get scared, it was over. Right after, everything was totally quiet. We couldn’t hear any wind. It went totally quiet.”
