Cliff Williams / TPI First Methodist Church of Wetumpka member Jimmy Graham walks a cross made from cedar. He joined other members of the church congregation as they walked to downtown and back to pray for churches, businesses and residents.

It was a cross made of cedar  Wetumpka resident Jimmy Graham proudly carried on Good Friday. 

Graham left the steps of the First Methodist Church Wetumpka on Broad Street and turned towards the Bibb Graves Bridge when he got to West Bridge Street. He paused as did others on the church’s Cross Walk Friday and they prayed for the churches of the area. The walk continued across the bridge and into downtown Wetumpka and the prayers continued.
