Wetumpka High School makes mark on state FFA organization

Submitted / The Herald

2019-2020 Alabama FFA secretary Terrance Crayton, from left, Wetumpka High School agriscience teacher William Norris and 2020-2021 Alabama FFA sentinel Case Edwards are pictured here at the FFA June 2019 conference. WHS has had 12 students serve in a state FFA leadership role.

With the selection of 2020 Wetumpka graduate Case Edwards as sentinel to the state Future Farmers of America, the school is tied for having the most number of officers elected to serve the organization.

Edwards was recently chosen as state sentinel and is the 12th WHS student to serve as a state FFA officer. Enterprise is the only other high school the state to have that number of students serve.
