PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Gage Davis executes against Holtville

Out of all of the positions in all of the sports, the football quarterback is one that requires a lot more responsibility and accountability. Quarterbacks tend to be highly scrutinized and highly praised at every level of the game – from high school to professional. 

Elmore County’s quarterback, senior Gage Davis, has undergone some of that scrutiny as the offense has struggled to find a consistent rhythm. Last week against Holtville, however, was a turning point. Davis is this week’s Elmore County Player of the Week.
