A Millbrook police officer thought he was going to be writing a speeding ticket Thursday. But it quickly turned into more.

Millbrook police chief P.K. Johnson said what might have been a fine turned into a felony attempting to elude arrest. He said the officer saw the suspect travelling at a high rate of speed was travelling east on Highway 14 weaving in and out of traffic. The officer gave chase and was taken on a winding route through Millbrook streets and state highways.
