Wetumpka High School is used to band members being selected for all-state. And as a whole they have traveled the nation for performances. But now, it has three members who have been selected to be a part of the 250 member Macy’s Great American Marching Band.

“It is a high school all star marching band made up of kids from all throughout the United States,” Wetumpka High School band director Jason Warnix said. “It's a huge honor. A lot of schools don't ever get one student into this group, let alone three students.”
