Edgewood Academy wasn’t expected to make it back to the AISA Class AA state championship, but that didn’t stop the Wildcats from going back-to-back Friday afternoon.

Edgewood beat Abbeville Christian, 45-42, in the state title game in the Multiplex at Cramton Bowl.
