Edgewood Academy looked to be making a comeback for the ages on Friday night, but a late turnover halted the Wildcats from advancing in the AISA Class AA playoffs.

Clarke Prep School defeated Edgewood Academy, 21-14, at home in the first round of the playoffs. Edgewood ends the season with a 4-7 overall record while Clarke Prep advances to the second round after its first win over Edgewood in school history.
