Edgewood Academy outside hitter Baylie Barrett (2) gets a kill off a set from her sister, Harlie Barrett, in the AISA AA regional play-in game. The Wildcats defeated Crenshaw Christian Academy in straight sets, 3-0.

At the beginning of the season, the Edgewood Wildcats volleyball chose Harlie Barrett and AC Kelley as their captains for a reason. For Barrett, it was unanimous. For Kelley, nearly so. 

As the Wildcats approach the state tournament, looking to reclaim their AISA state championship title, that decision has paid off.
