It was hard not to notice there was something different happening before Wetumpka’s semifinal game Friday night at Hohenberg Field. As the team captains walked from the fieldhouse to the home sideline, there was a noticeable jersey wearing pads for the first time since the 2017 season.

“There has been a change to tonight’s starting lineup.”
