New owner, manager hope to restore Emerald Mtn’s glroy

In the past, Emerald Mountain Golf Club has served as host to

numerous local tournaments including the Elmore County (H.S.)

Golf Championships.

Despite having a new owner and work being done, those looking to fly the greens at the Emerald Mountain Golf Club are going to have to keep their clubs bagged for a while longer.

“This place closed sometime in November and evidently nothing on the course or in the restaurant took place,” said Erich Flynn, general manager. “It’s taken us two or three weeks just to get our feet wet and see where we are.”
