The Stanhope Elmore football team saw its season come to a disappointing end on Thursday night.

The Mustangs, which did not make the playoffs this year, played host to Minor in a non-region matchup to end the season. Stanhope Elmore fell behind early and couldn’t dig itself out of the hole in a 28-21 loss.
