Wetumpka shuts out Stanhope Elmore on Senior Night

With the force of the community behind them on senior night, Wetumpka defeated rivals Stanhope Elmore last Tuesday night in straight sets, 25-23, 25-6, 25-24. 

The night started by honoring the seven seniors for the Indians (4-4, 2-1): Hannah Burdett, Ashlynn Turner, Carlynn Chumley, Camryn Foote, Emily Stanford, Cheyenne Boshell and Jillian Hand. The seniors were escorted to center court by their parents, as athletic director Bear Woods read their messages to their team and community.
