The Wetumpka Indians are headed to the postseason via the fourth place slot in Class 6A Region 2. They will head to Saraland to take on the undefeated Spartans on Nov. 7.
The Tallassee Tigers have clinched a spot in the playoffs for the second-straight year under coach Lawrence ‘L.A.’ O’Neal. They will face American Christian in Tuscaloosa in the first round of the playoffs on Nov. 7.

Despite last week’s loss, the Wetumpka Indians have clinched a playoff berth this season. Under Bear Woods, this is the fourth straight season the Indians have seen the playoffs. However, they have not made it past the first round. This season, they will face the undefeated Saraland Spartans (9-0, 8-0) in Mobile. Saraland was the Class 6A state runner-up last season.
