Elmore County last year at least got the benefit of waiting until the second round before having to face off against Williamson. However, this go-round, the Panthers draw the star-studded team from down south in the first round.

After clinching the No. 3 seed out of Class 4A Region 4 with four straight region wins, Elmore County clinched its ticket to the playoffs with a matchup against the No. 3 team in Class 4A, Williamson.
