Due to the forecast for extreme cold from Friday through Sunday, Elmore County has activated the Safer Places program as warming stations.
These are Warming Stations and not shelters, so citizens must remember to bring all needed supplies such as water, food, snacks, chairs, blankets, phone chargers and any other supplies. Should citizens have long-term needs, such as homelessness, they should contact Hands on River Region at #211 for assistance.
