Wetumpka at Beauregard for season opener

Wetumpka is set to take on Beauregard in Opelika in their season opener on Friday night. In last season’s game against the Hornets, Wetumpka slipped past them in a comeback win for a final score of 19-14. 

The Indians plan to come out swinging this season, trying to start the season better than the last two seasons which have both been started 1-3. The Beauregard team they’re facing is not the same as last year’s, however. The Hornets come into this season with a brand new coach, Shenan Motley.
