The Wetumpka Indians made the trek to Mobile for a first round matchup against 6A juggernaut, Saraland High School. The Indians fell short to the Spartans by a final score of 49-26. 

Wetumpka (6-5) had intentions of setting the tone early in the game as they elected to receive the initial kick. Sophomore quarterback Charlie Skipper led his troops to an early touchdown drive with John Hudson Wingard on the receiving end via a 23 yard passing score from Skipper.
