Wetumpka, Smiths Station meet for first time since 2010

On Friday, Wetumpka will face off against Smiths Station, their first football meeting in almost two decades. Wetumpka enters the matchup following a 28-6 victory over Percy Julian, with the win coming after a 32-29 loss to Russell County, giving the Indians an opportunity to build momentum as they return to the field.

Smiths Station, meanwhile, enters the game at 0-5 after a 55-14 loss to Carver-Montgomery. Wetumpka also faced Carver-Montgomery in 2023, adding another connection between the two programs heading into Friday’s matchup.
