Area residents will get a special Valentine’s treat Feb. 13 when Gilbert and Sullivan’s H.M.S. Pinafore comes to Alexander City. The show will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the Benjamin Russell High School auditorium.

This is the fifth event brought to the city by the Alexander City Arts Inc. The group should be commended for its efforts that have brought shows like the Stellar Brass of the United States Air Force Band of the Rockies and “Swing and Sway” with the Sammy Kaye Orchestra.
