With Christmas less than a week away, many people who have not yet finished their shopping will scramble to find gifts for friends and family. Others are simply hard to shop for, and people wishing to give gifts to these individuals may be at a loss as to what to get them. For both of these shoppers, gift cards may be the solution to their gift-giving problem.

“We will probably sell more gift cards this week than we will the whole rest of the year combined,” said Ken Peters, manager at Sears.
