Fort Toulouse-Fort Jackson Park is set to hold its ‘Alabama Frontier Days’ event beginning next week into the weekend and, according to the Alabama Historical Commission, this will be the 300th year since the fort was installed by the French in 1717.

Park office manager Lynn Shockley said several activities were planned over three-day event Wednesday, Nov. 1 through Saaturday, Nov. 4.
